Gewurztraminers are some of my favorite wines. Because they are so full-flavored, they can be very food-friendly, and this one is no exception. Spicy, lemony and acidic, with a hint of sweetness, it went great with the fettuccini alfredo topped with smoked salmon that I had prepared for dinner. |

Light refreshing with a great crisp flavor, pretty much sums up this excellent value white wine. I like gewürztraminers and it is safe to say that they are probably my favorite of the white wine varieties. I would recommend this wine be paired with your next fish recipe. It would be especially nice with a good Halibut. Try this wine with lighter pastas and cream sauces too. I think it would go well with an alfredo or similar cream sauce. |
